Two Sisters are delighted to present our own range of locally sourced artisan cheese from across the island of Ireland.

The Cheese Range:

A swiss style cows milk cheese. Sweet, savoury with a gentle tang. Made in Portumna, Galway

Kearney Blue

A creamy cheese with a rustic texture and a fresh taste, Kearney Blue Cheese is a multi-award winning product inspired by the Belfast landscape. Kearney Blue Cheese is made with milk from cows grazing on a select group of farms found within five miles of the Farmview Dairies creamery in County Down.

St Gall

The St Gall cheese derives its name from Saint Gall, one of the companions of Saint Columbanus. This is a typical fine Swiss cheese and has a subtle sweet and sour taste. It is a hard cheese made from the milk obtained from Friesian cows and has an intense flavour. It has also won a Gold Medal in 2008 at the World Cheese Awards held in Dublin.

St Brigid

Frank Shinnick’s small farm is at the base of Ireland in Fermoy, County Cork. He farms very traditionally making a tiny amount of cheese from their surplus milk.  All his cheeses are based on continental styles (Frank’s wife is German); St Brigid has this style of the continental mountain cheeses, like Morbier and Fontina – with a supple texture and savoury washed rind notes (created by washing the cheese in salty water which makes this ruby red bacteria grow) from its ruby-red rind.

Temple Gall

Templegall is an Alpine style cheese, rather like a Comté, made by the Hegartys in Cork, Ireland.

Killeen Farmhouse Cheese in County Galway make cheese on their goat farm. Haske started his 50 acres goat farm in 1990 and in 2004 the first cheese was made, now they use all the milk from his 200 goats. The stark-white Saanen goats are grass fed.
A beautiful creamy white sweeter goats milk gouda with a gentle flavour, slightly nutty with maturity. Not suitable for vegetarians
